The pellet automatic hot water boiler VIGAS 12 PEL is ideal for comfortable heating of small family houses up to 150 m2.
The burning of pellets takes place in a classic burning on a grid made of heat-resistant steel, where the pellets are fed by two screw conveyors and a turnstile feeder.
The boiler is not equipped with an automatic ash removal device, but its large combustion chamber allows ash removal every 7 days.
According to EN 303-5+A1:2023, the boiler is classified in class 5

Technical description
Vigas 12 DPA
The hot water pellet boiler VIGAS 12 PEL is designed for burning pellets with a diameter of 6 mm and a length of up to 40 mm. The boiler insulation consists of NOBASIL insulation material in thicknesses of 20 and 40 mm. Flue gases are discharged through a steel throat with a diameter of 160 mm. The pellet tank is made of sheet metal with a thickness of 1.5 mm and has a volume of 225 l. The boiler has a front gearbox, an electric ignition coil, a metering choke, a chimney temperature sensor and an ultrasonic pellet level sensor.
When burning pellets, they are precisely dosed from the reservoir directly into the combustion chamber of the boiler, where they are burned with the help of a regulated amount of air. Flue gases are intensively cooled in a double-row pipe exchanger. Unburnt waste is swept out of the combustion chamber. For heating, the boiler is equipped with a heating valve controlled by a rod in the front part of the boiler.
WARNING
Only standard wood chip pellets with a diameter of 6 mm with min. calorific value 18 MJ/kg. When burning pellets from another material, e.g. straw, hay and the like or other sizes are prohibited.
Safety
The boilers are equipped with an STB thermal fuse, which ensures fan disconnection when the heating boiler overheats above 100°C and a cooling safety exchanger against boiler overheating according to STN EN 303-5+A1:2023. For the cooling safety heat exchanger, the manufacturer recommends purchasing a Honeywell TS 131 3/4" safety valve.
The boiler is equipped with a safety chamber feeder (turnstile) driven by a chain gear against pellet fire in the tank. In the event of a power failure, energy or dosing device failure, there is always an air gap between the pellet tank and the combustion chamber to prevent the pellets in the tank from igniting.
The boiler is equipped with a safety thermometer to prevent damage to the gearbox motor in the event of a screw or turnstile blockage, which detects the temperature of the motor and ensures that the motor is switched off when it overheats to 80°C.
